the dark knight 07/18/08
Grabbed a couple post dinner drinks at Rocket Bar, then headed over to the premiere of the new Batman flick. I am not the late night cat i used to be, so for me to attend a midnight showing you know i’m pretty jazzed up.
Suffice to say every one of my expectations was met… and then clobbered over the head with a batman shaped club made from distilled, frozen awesomeness. It’s dark, confrontational, challenging, terrifying and mesmerizing all at once. No villain has ever done what Heath Ledger has done in the movie.
This is the best movie adaptation of a comic book ever. Ever.
