I havent posted in a bit, mainly because its been a pretty hectic few days.
Bad news first, the hotel where LG and I were supposed to be married is not going to finish construction on time. I have a small volume of four letter words that I could use to express my frustration with the owners/management of this place, but I’ll save them for later.
Now, after talking with all our guests and canceling, we have opted to just elope in Mexico. Obviously we will miss a lot of our friends who wont be able to join us, but at the end of the day LG and I are crazy in love and would get married on the court house steps as long as it meant we got to spend the rest of our lives together.
On the upside, the place were going in Mexico is beautiful, and the idea of spending some time on a beach with the girl of my dreams is about as appealing a thought as I can imagine.
