LGB-DayNYC 03/06/09
Lindsey’s birthday (and her moms) are Sunday and Monday so I met her in Long Island to celebrate and then drive back to DC for the week together.
I cant say what I got her, but I can say i was an ordeal. I sent Esther in to do some recon: it went slightly better then the bay of pigs.
After multiple trips to the mall I finally got something that I think she’ll like, so that’s done. The plan is a double feature of chick-flicks shes been wanting to see–which I rarely do at theaters for the obvious reason that Kate Winslet’s monologues don’t really require a 50-foot digital screen and THX sound the way say, The Watchman do–followed by dinner at Proof in Chinatown, where we had a very memorable date during our early courtship.
