a slacker 07/01/08
Haven’t posted in a solid day. What a slacker. As a round up, i got my place in Denver on the market, so thumbs up to that. Had a miserable red eye flight home. Didn’t get in till about 5 am and had several bleary calls to take this morning.
On the upside, sat next to this really cool lady on the plane. Despite being a lib she was largely reasonable. She was on her way back from the Aspen institutes Think Fest, or some liberal hob nob extravaganza. Had a good talk about solutions in the mid east, parenting (her and her husband have two super cool little boys) and preventing teenage pregnancy, shes getting her masters in public policy on the subject.
It was funny to listen to her talk about the evolution of her positions as she started to get older, raise a family etc. Just goes to show you, there is hope for everyone.
Back at the office, catching up on bills as usual and ticked off ’cause i was in the metro when LG called. Imagine it’ll be a long nigh getting caught up from not doing any work during the weekend.
