been on the train all afternoon, just passing downtown baltimore. got a ton done, actually easier here then in the office some days. getting a lot of positive responses from the top 40 storm contest, and getting some good stuf around witr these days.

the ceremony is all wrapped up and now we disco. I love jewish weddings, must be 300 people here, and everyone is related.
had a long, complicated day. glad to be done. lg and i are going to a wedding tomorrow, looking forward to that. it’s in long island (lg’s home town) so it’ll be nice to meet some of her friends form high school etc.
Scheduled to do a debate today at the Roosevelt Institutes national conference regarding voter registration and fraud.
Me: only us citizens should be able to vote
Them: anyone should vote.
Clearly there will be a variety of disagreements.

had a good meeting with adam wedlock from american solutions. doing some very interesting things over there with drill here, drill now. hopefully we’ll find some synergies between them and crs.
had lunch with maya enista from Mobilize.org this afternoon also on hand was netroots extraordinaire soren dayton. chatted about ways to enhance the discussion between the youth partisans, and where common ground exists. they’re doing some interesting work, check them out.

Calcutta was kind enough to give me a lift to the drop point. took a look at the final product, and now im getting nervous. funniest part of the whole exchange:
Me: “Yeah, i still dont get it…” (looking at the ring)
Jeweler: “I’ve been doing this 20 years, and I still dont get it…”
im all set, the jeweler knew exactly the direction we needed to go. rachel is going to lift a magazine cut out the lg has from her desk and use it as a template. i’m getting engaged. wow. i feel like jim from the office.
when buying an engagement ring its important to remeber a few things:
1. Dont allow your lungs to sieze up
2. the 4 Cs color, clarity, cut and something else….should be cost, but i assure you it isnt.

Cool stuff happening out there, some realistic solutions on energy which is great news.
Did a good interview with Medill News this morning, talking about youth voters. Doing some cool stuff over there, have to keep my eyes on them.
