Got the first piece of mail addressed to me and LG as a to be married couple. Pretty groovy.
It’s an invite to my cousins Bar Mitzvah (think Jewish sweet sixteen but with some actual meaning) later this year in Denver, CO. Coolsville.
No excuses, I’ve been slacking. Hopefully my Brighkite feed gave some semblance of activity for the past couple days.
I’ve actually been moving, which is a hellish process as always, but I am finally done and now have the fun chore of unpacking. At least the hard part is over.

Hanging at Charlie’s rooftop pool for a little get together. Some bbq, and a little sunset makes for a chill afternoon.

Heading back on the 7 AM from NY to DC. Swanson is passed out on the train while Charles and I are hammering through the AM emails.

just spent the last 2 hours hanging out with famed Republican operative Roger Stone. He is everything he’s cracked up to be and then some.
Grabbed dinner at Naples 45 then watched Roger do a 5 minute comedy set at some hole in the wall in the West Village.
Wild.
Hanging in the lobby of the Roosevelt hotel in Midtown. Have about an hour before the event starts.
Pretty pumped to meet Roger Stone, interested to hear what he has to say, and see the reaction from the crowd.

Just grabbed dinner with my buddy ross at Dylan Prime, a shiek little steakhouse in Tribecca.
Heading to midtown to grab LG before we head home for the night.
woke up early and knocked out some emails and approvals for a handful of chapter box items. Did a half hour interview with wired about where is the red?

Spending some quality time with LG in her hometown of Oceanside, NY, a pretty little suburb out on Long Island.
Grabbed breakfast at this great little diner with LG and her mom, had fun talking about last night and the wedding and everything else.

Dinner went over really well, everyone seemed to get along and enjoy the night.
The meal was awesome, so that definitely made it easier. Did a quick yelp review on the restaurant, so thats there for those interested.

Jet blue holds up, best airline out there. Service and substance are a head above the big guys.
Slept for a while then listened to McCain’s townhall in Michigan.
Just boarded my 7 am to JFk. Jet blue is officially my favorite airlines (I reserve the right to revoke that standing should my bag not be on the other side).
Planning to be asleep about 10 seconds after were off the ground, fingers crossed.

An awesome spot outside Austin. Amazing food and great views. A must if you are in Austin.
listening in on the the New Media vs Old Media panel at the Right Online. Interesting take on the importance of local print media, my thought: true but for how long.
Out on 6th street with Esther, Joe Mansour, David All, Robert Bluey and the rest of the Right Online allstars.
Hit up some fun little spots, Logans, and the Aquarium before grabbing a slice of pizza and heading in for the night.

The girl sitting across the aisle started nervous laughing uncontrollably: freaky.
Had a minor incident after arriving a bit late to the American Airlines ticket counter, they wanted to charge me extra for a checked bag. My bag was checked, I was uncharged. Score: Ethan 1, Airlines 0.
Quick flight to NC, 30 minute layover then I’m Austin-bound.
Grabbed a couple post dinner drinks at Rocket Bar, then headed over to the premiere of the new Batman flick. I am not the late night cat i used to be, so for me to attend a midnight showing you know i’m pretty jazzed up.

Had a swanky dinner with some folks in from out of town at the Willard Room downtown. First time there, so it was a lot of fun. Diverse menu with a lot of great stuff.
Despite two glasses of wine, I still managed to suck it up and am heading over to the gym. Listening to the new N.E.R.D. album on my Curve.
